On a buying trip to McLaren Vale in February 2019 we were lucky to meet a bunch of winemakers whose wines (Paxton included) we tasted over a delicious lunch in the most idyllic clifftop location. You could say that our judgement was blurred a touch by the vino, sun and sea. However, on returning home we found that this was no holiday romance, it was the real deal! The Paxton wines stood up to the taste test on home turf.
MV Shiraz doesn’t dissapoint, full and rich with layers of fruit, sweet spice and toasty oak yet it has a youthfulness with red fruits to the fore and a velvety finish. Enjoy with a juicy steak or a hearty casserole or just enjoy!
