Mas Costeplane Lou Canoun, France

Mas Costeplane are a sweet star of the south. Second generation biodynamic production. Humble but not rustic. There’s all the warmth of the Mediterranean hinterland in this wine. Damson and fig for depth, ripe cherry for juicy and a few garrigue herbs - thyme, sage - to keep it fresh and gluggable. It’s one of those wines that’s good for everything; drinking on its own, suits all kind of foods and moods, suits all kinds of red-wine tastes too. Winemaking is uncomplicated but considered - a little bit like the finished product.
