Fabien Jouves Haut Côt(e) de Fruit B3 Vin de France

Let’s start by saying this wine is delicious, smashable and will drench and quench your palate with super-ripe fresh red fruits. I don’t really want to tell you that it’s Malbec (Cot) because it is nothing like what we have come to define Malbec - Argentinian or French - as tasting like. Super-jammy Malbec-as-we-know-it can be tasty but the secret here is that this wine is titled “Vin de France”. This is because it is categorised as “not made by the rules of the area it comes from”. It’s a rebel but it’s not a punk. It’s not crazy it’s just different and most importantly damn tasty.
